FAQ
Why is automated driving important?
The transition from human-controlled vehicles to automatically controlled vehicles is under way. This goes for cars as well as public transport. Furthermore, more and more different types of transport means are being combined to efficiently get from A to B. In order to make this transition sustainably and safely, TU Delft, universities of applied sciences, governments, and the business community are researching how we can promote mobility in the future.
The focus of the research lies in how people accept automated vehicles and how automated vehicles fit into the flow of traffic and the framework of the street.
